Recent events in Los Angeles, California, are nothing short of disgraceful! A mob of left-wing radicals waving foreign flags viciously attacked U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol agents, and even Los Angeles Police Department officers. These criminals assaulted police officers, hurled rocks at police cars and officers, burned vehicles, blocked highways, and even threw Molotov cocktails!
All this was triggered by the Trump administration's efforts to deport illegal aliens who have committed violent crimes. But make no mistake, these attacks are not just against law enforcement, but against American culture and society itself! The rioters burned American flags, chanted "Death to ICE," and spray-painted anti-American slogans on buildings.
Trump Administration Will Not Tolerate Mob Rule
President Trump will not allow mob rule to prevail in America! Maintaining law and order is the most fundamental duty of government, and this administration is shouldering that sacred responsibility. Shamefully, Democrats like Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass have failed to uphold their oath to citizens. They lack the courage to do what is right and protect law-abiding Californians from harm.
That is why President Trump was forced to deploy the National Guard and mobilize the Marine Corps to end the chaos and restore law and order. The rioters' violence is being suppressed, and the perpetrators will be swiftly brought to justice! The Trump administration's operation to arrest illegal aliens is continuing, and we will not back down!
Why Are Democrats Consistently "Helping Backward"?
On June 6, when ICE first launched its immigration enforcement operation, Mayor Bass took to social media to express her outrage at what was happening! She then launched into one of the most egregious lies in American history, blaming President Trump and the brave law enforcement officers for the violence. She accused ICE officials of spreading terror in the community and undermining the fundamental principles of city safety by targeting illegal alien murderers, rapists, and pedophiles!
Governor Newsom also claimed that the immigration enforcement operation created chaos. These Democrats' opposition to President Trump has forced them to side with illegal alien criminals, violent rioters, and looters in their communities, and against the law enforcement officers who are simply doing their jobs.
Mayor Bass and Governor Newsom are simply fanning the flames and demonizing our brave ICE officers! Instead of defending their city and state, they are claiming that ICE needs to leave and immigration raids must stop in order to stop the riots and violence.
In other words, the Democrats' position is that the federal government has no right to enforce our laws and arrest and deport illegal alien criminals. They are trying to use violent mobs as weapons against their own constituents to stop the enforcement of immigration laws. This behavior is deeply un-American and morally reprehensible!
President Trump has a clear mandate from voters to reverse the illegal invasion triggered by Joe Biden's open borders and end the lawlessness represented by Gavin Newsom's California and Karen Bass. President Trump is committed to launching the largest deportation operation in American history, and left-wing rioters will not deter his efforts!
Sanctuary Cities Will No Longer Be Allowed to Shelter Criminals
Sanctuary cities and states will no longer be allowed to shield illegal alien criminals from deportation. Just look at some of the illegal alien monsters who have been apprehended in Los Angeles streets in recent days to see why we must crack down!
- A Vietnamese national, known to be a gang member, who was convicted of second-degree murder;
- A Mexican national, convicted of lewd acts with a child, who possessed a dangerous weapon, and was previously arrested for robbery and domestic violence;
- A Filipino national, who has been convicted of rape, assault, burglary, and theft;
- A Mexican national, convicted of statutory rape, drug offenses, and hit and run;
- A Nicaraguan national, who was arrested for intentional cruelty to a child and has been convicted of domestic violence and hit and run;
- And an illegal alien from Mexico who allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail at law enforcement officers during Saturday's riot in Paramount has been arrested and is now charged with attempted murder.
No matter what Democrats like Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom say, law-abiding American citizens do not want these threats to public safety in their communities.
Good News on the Economic Front
Today's latest Consumer Price Index inflation report once again came in lower than expected. Inflation has come in below economic expectations every month since President Trump took office. Core inflation remains stable and is at its lowest level since March 2021. Wage growth remains strong, and average real earnings for private sector workers are on pace to increase by about $1,200, adjusted for inflation. Prices continue to fall for the average American. Energy prices fell from April to May, and gasoline prices are falling month after month and are down 12% over the past year. Prices for meat, poultry, eggs, and fish also fell from April to May.
Under President Trump's strong leadership, America is defeating Joe Biden's record-high inflation crisis. Our economy will experience unprecedented prosperity once the One Big Beautiful Act passes.
The Act is the largest tax cut for the middle class in American history. The "One Big Beautiful" Act cuts taxes by 15% for American working people, providing an extra $10,000 per year in take-home pay for families. The "One Big Beautiful" Act expands the Child Tax Credit to $2,500 for over 40 million families with children. And this beautiful big act cuts taxes for workers earning overtime, saving them nearly $2,000 per year and eliminates taxes on tips, saving tipped workers nearly $2,000 per year as well.
All of these provisions are wildly popular and overwhelmingly supported by the American people. We need Republicans in Congress to get this done and send this beautiful bill back to President Trump's desk for his signature as soon as possible.
